Popularly regarded as Bayo, Samuel’s zest for sports has depth. With multiple degrees in Information Technology, Bayo couldn’t just resist seeking a career in Sports Journalism.

From talking Football, Tennis, and Formula one at home, Bayo went on to talk sports at work as an IT Support Officer and boom, got his first call-up to talk on air.

“I grew up in a house with a 3SC supporter dad, NBA, F1 aficionados for elderly cousins who made it a point to daily discuss, argue and deliberate on these issues. So it became a point of duty for all to consume enough information so as to be part of the daily Ritual. First call came while I was an IT support Officer at AIM consultants, Owner of Cool/Wazobia FM. We would discuss games with the regular Presenters.”

Bayo has covered CAF congresses, NFF congresses,  a Formula 1 Grand Prix, Championship of African Nations, CAF champions league/Confederations Cup, NPL/NPFL matches, several Athletic meets (Locally and Internationally), Multiple Golf Tourneys, Basketball Leagues, Sports Festivals among other sports tourneys.

In a chit-chat with him, Bayo explained how fierce his love for Formula 1 is. He had to cross many borders to watch the Grand Prix in 2015.
