Barcelona forward Lionel Messi reiterated Argentina have a squad capable of challenging for World Cup glory.

The Albiceleste team is flooded with talents and Messi sees that as primary reason for optimism.

The Barcelona Star leads Jorge Sampaoli 23-man delegation to Russia including Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero and Juventus duo of Paulo Dybala and Gonzalo Higuian.

The South American boast one of the most vaunted attacking fray of the “very even ” tournament that might lead the country to its first triumph since 1986.

Messi accepts the Albiceleste may be not be ranked among the major contenders, but sees their individual quality as providing hope for a successful tournament.
