The 25-year old featured in both games as his composure and calm provided stability for the team to counter-attack opponents successfully.
The FC Shaktah Karagandy midfielder played out the full 90 minutes against Liechtenstein but his load was lightened in the second game against Iceland as he was replaced in the 81st minute by Karen Muradyan.
Armenia are second in Group J only bettered by Germany on goal difference as both teams are logged with six points apiece from two games.
North Macedonia, Romania, Iceland and Liechtenstein occupy the 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th positions respectively.
Armenia play their next game against Romania who are 4th on the Group J log but their toughest battle will expectedly come against former World Champions Germany when both sides meet later in September.
