Liverpool forward Sadio Mane has dedicated his goal against Everton on Saturday to every Nigerian amidst the ongoing protest in the country.
Mane was on the score sheet for Liverpool in their 2-2 Premier league draw at Goodison park.
The Senegal International took to twitter to lend his support to Nigerians as they pass through hard times from the disbanded Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).
“I dedicate my goal to everyone in Nigeria for this tragic moment let’s #EndSars #EndSWAT.” Mane twitted.
Nigerians at home and in diaspora have protested for the disbandment of SARS with the hash tag “#EndSARS”.
Celebrities around the world have come in support of this protest having been a victim or heard of the cries of many from the hands of this special department of the Nigerian Police.
Mane who has been in terrific form for Liverpool since joining the Reds from Southampton raised his voice above his head to show his continuous love for humanity and need for freedom to the West African Country and the black people at large.
