Seven Manchester United players returned to training to link up with the rest of the squad after their 1-0 defeat to Aston Villa in their last preseason game.
Bruno Fernandes who was on National duty with Portugal in the Europe Nations league had a delayed return after waiting to witness the birth of his second child.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka also returned from his holiday in Dubai but needed a two-week quarantine to fulfill the COVID-19 regulatory obligation as he appeared at the Carrington complex for training.
Midfileders Juan Mata, Nemanja Matic and Fred all made their first time appearances at the club’s training ground having complete their two weeks quarantine after their return from holidays.
Phil Jones and Eric Bailly were also pictured at Carrington as they also made their return from holiday.
The only player still absent from United’s training is Argentina’s Sergio Romero who is yet to return from holiday
