World cup winner and US captain Alex Morgan has signed for Tottenham Hotspurs from Orlando pride for the 2020/2021 WSL season.
The 31-year old decided to move as she seek a regular game time to regain her fitness especially after giving birth in June as Olympics looms next summer.
Orlando pride will take part in the NWSL fall series, a mini-tournament but will only give Morgan four competitive games as she demands more of that.
The forward has won two World cups for US including same number of CONCACAF Women’s Championships as well as the SheBelieves Cup in 2016 and 2018 during her illustrious career.
Morgan becomes the third Orlando pride player to join Tottenham in the last few weeks after Alanna Kennedy and Shelina Zadorsky had earlier joined.
