Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo has become the first European men’s player to score 100 or more goals at International level.
The 35-year old marked his return to the National team against Sweden with two fine finishes after missing the 4-1 win against Croatia through a toe infection.
The Juventus forward scored his first from a free-kick which was his tenth of that kind for his country.
He recorded his second of the night with a curling effort, taking his tally to 101 for Portugal.
Of those 101 goals, 55 were right-footed, 24 headers and 22 with his left foot.
The only player who scored more at international level was Iran’s Ali Daei on 109 which the former Manchester United man go pass considering his desire to go further in his playing career.
