Shirak FC midfielder Solomon Udo is still eligible to play for the Super Eagles of Nigeria as he is yet to play for the senior national team of Armenia.
The 25-year-old was invited to the Armenia National team for the UEFA Nations League matches against North Macedonia and Estonia.
He was an unused substitute in Armenia’s 2-1 loss to North Macedonia.
The Nigerian-born is still available for selection should Coach Gernot Rohr decide to pick him.
Armenia face Estonia in the UEFA Nations league on Tuesday. With Coach Capparros looking for a dependable option in midfield, the Shirak FC midfield maestro is likely to make his debut and put to death every rumour linking him with the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
Udo is currently trailed by five Asian-European clubs including Armenian Premier League champions Ararat Armenia.
Earlier reports had strongly linked the Nigerian to Kazakhstan League champions Astana but it is likely the Aspire Academy graduate will remain in the Armenian Premier League considering borders have been closed and air travel barred due to the Corona virus pandemic.
