Italian side Lazio have agreed a deal with former Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina.
The Spanish shot-stopper agrees to join Lazio after being frustrated with Valencia’s delay in striking a deal.
Valencia were close to sign the goalkeeper but Reina insist he is frustrated by the Spanish club’s delay in the deal.
Lazio needs an experienced backup goalkeeper for Thomas Strakosha as they return to Champions league football for the first time in 13 years.
Reina 38, played the closing part of last season with Aston Villa as they survived relegation on last day.
But will be delighted to play in the Champions league when he completes his deal with Lazio which will be his third Serie A club after having previous spells with Napoli and Milan.
