Two Nigerians kicked off the Belgian Jupiter league with a goal each as both Paul Onuacho and Cyriel Dessers scored to gift Genk a 2-1 win over Zulte Waregem in a season opener.

Onuacho scored in the 73rd minute to cancel out Olivier Deschacht’s opener.

Belgian-born Cyriel Dessers stroke in the 80th minute from the spot to hand hand his team victory in their first league game of the campaign.

The 25 years old Dressers opened his scoring account for Genk via a penalty, fee weeks after joining the club from Heracles Almelo.

Dessers secured a four year deal in June and has made a significant debut.

Genk are second on the log behind Waasland-Beveren on goal difference as the first round of games is still inconclusive.
