Manchester United are eyeing for a possible alternative for “expensive” Jadon Sancho as the player looks increasingly unavailable.
It now appears the deal for United to sign the 20-year old England winger is off as the Red Devils elapse Borussia Dortmund’s deadline.
The German club were asking for €120m for the winger, setting August 10 as deadline for United to strike a deal if their their interest is genuine.
Reports now say Sancho is in the BVB’s preseason team.
A more experience and less-costly alternative have been identified.
Juventus and Brazil wing king, Douglas Costa has emerge as a possible alternative for the England man.
The 29-year old Costa will be a cheaper acquisition for United as he is seeking a move away from the Old Lady having not been guaranteed a regular starting berth.
