Manchester United forward Jessie Lingard has poured out his disappointment and frustration as he admits he was “lost both as a player and person “.

The England International scored the last goal of the Premier League season after he capitalised on Schmeichel’s fumbling.

The 27-year old suffered a lot of criticism from his own supporters at old Trafford.

But scored a very vital goal for the club as they qualified for next season’s Champions league.

“I never wanted to give up,” Lingard posted on Instagram. “I knew who I really was on and off the pitch.

“This team, this club is my family and I will continue to keep working harder than ever to help this team achieve its goals.”

Lingard so many complications during the campaign.

He lost his mother who was very dear to him and had to swap agent to Mino Raiola due to difficulties on and off the pitch.

But has regained his mental strength after that goal at Leicester which is a lift for his game.
