Leicester City’s Jamie Vardy is the oldest player to win the Premier league golden boot award.

The forward scored 23 goals as he claims his first premier league golden boot.

Vardy surpasses record set by Chelsea legend Didier Drogba who won it at 32 in 2009/10 season.

The Foxes forward is the second Englishman to clinch the award after Harry Kane since 2000.

Vardy lost 2-0 to Manchester United in a season-decider, but their lost for a Champions league place didn’t really matter as he went home with a price.

Vardy was followed by compatriot Danny Ings and last season’s winner, Aubamenyang who were both on 22 goals.
