Ex-Super Eagles captain John Obi Mikel has asked for an apology from former club Trabzonspor to return to club.
Mikel had his contract terminated with the club after issues of concern during the out break of coronavirus.
The former Chelsea player called on the league to be suspended as the virus was killing people, spreading fast.
Whereas club chairman Ahmet Ağaoğlu called him for a meeting which ended in cancellation of his contract.

The 33-year old has been without a club since and he’s willing to return to Turkey should the president apologise and call him back.
Mikel said in interview with 61saat.com; “The fans of Trabzonspor are very special to me. We are still talking to them on social media. For me, the fans will always remain in good memories. I would like to return to Trabzonspor again, but I expect an apology for this. I think I deserve it”.
