Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has given update on one of United’s riding star Mason Greenwood ahead of an all-important premier league clash with Southampton later thus evening.
The Red Devils take on the Saints in United’s most important Premier league game this season, knowing too well a win will see them leapfrog both Chelsea and Leicester and to third place as they aim to earn a champions league place this season.
Greenwood has been a revelation to united this season scoring 16 goals in all competition so far, with scintillating performances since the league restart.
His form has drawn the attention of Solskjaer as he earns a starting place in the United’s right hand attack.
Waiting to play Southampton today, Solskjaer responded to question on Greenwood. He said : “You know, at that age you’ve got so much energy, you’ve got no fear.
“You just want to go and play football. If we have a day off, he’ll go and play football with his mates.
I’m not worried about Mason this season. We’ve just got to look after him of course, in his whole career. He’s a fantastic boy to work with he just loves playing football and at the moment he gets results and rewards for his hard work”.
With the manager’s response, it noe appear all clear the 18-year old is start again on the right of United’s front-three tonight.
