Manchester United duo of Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial have broken a nine-year record set by Dimitar Brrbatov and Javier Hernandez as they mark 20 goals apiece in the club win over Bournemouth at Old Trafford today.

Rashford scored from the spot to give United the lead while Martial scored a stunner to maintain the lead, taking their tally to 20 in all competitions for the club.

It last happened in 2011 when strike partners Berbatov and Hernandez reached the mark in the Sir Alex Ferguson’s glorious days era.

United travel to Villa Park to take on Aston Villa in their next premier league game, with FA cup and Europa League still to play, the duo can still add more to those numbers.
