Departing Manchester United talent, Angel Gomes has responded to his former academy teammate Mason Greenwood who dedicated his goal in Manchester United’s 3-0 against Brighton at the Amex stadium to remind him of his time at the club.
Greenwood while celebrating his 13th strike of the season showed letter A with his fingers, showing remorse for the departed young star.
Gomes responded with the words, “No words! I love you bro special player, thanks for the dedicated goal. @MasonGreenwood”.
The 19-year old Gomes departed Old Trafford on June 30 due to lack of playing opportunities for the first team after running out his contract.
Greenwood, 18, his younger colleague at the United academy gets more playing time in Ole Gunnar Solksjaer’s setup as he dedicates his goal to his friend.
