German champions Bayern Munich has agreed a deal in the region of £54.8m with Manchester City for winger Leroy Sane, sky sports reports.
Sane has been on the headlines since last summer with several reports linking him with a move to the Allianz Arena.
It now appears likely that the Germany International will make a final switch to the Bavarians.
Sane, 24, was tipped for a return to the Bundesliga last summer, but was a surprise start in the Community Shield for City, picking up a serious knee injury that sidelined him for several months, causing any deal to fail.
The former Shalke attacker whose contract expires next summer has refused to renew his deal, making it clear to the Manchester club of his desire to move on from the club.
It now appears all set as fees has reportedly been agreed, cooling speculations linking him to fellow rivals Manchester United as he is set to return to his Germany, his country of birth.
