Sort-after forward Jardon Sancho has turned down a new and improved deal at the Signal Iduna Park, Sky sports reports.
The Winger is currently on a £5.1m annual salary, but BVB are hoping to double the figures to convince him to stay.
The England forward current deal will be up in two years and the Bundeliga side are willing to tie down one of their key players.
Sancho scored 17 goals with 16 assists last season for Dortmund, proving to be the kind of wide man Manchester United need at the moment.
The 20-year old has been previously linked with both Barcelona and Real Madrid but it appears United are leading the race for the Manchester City academy graduate.
Sky Sources reported earlier that Manchester United are not willing to pay more than £50m for the front man, but his most recent refusal to extend his current deal could prove a pathway for the Old Trafford club.
