Manchester United triplet of Paul Pogba, Marcus Rashford and new signing Bruno Fernandes all played on the same pitch for the club for the first time in their EPL classic against Spurs.
Pogba has been a long-term absentee with injury keeping him off, forcing United’s hierarchies to recruit Fernandes from Sporting Lisbon in January and the pair had to play to together for the first time when Pogba replaced Brazilian Fred at the London stadium.
Rashford suffered serious injury on late December but has to wait until last night to finally play alongside the Portuguese.
The pair might have had a good time outside the field as Fernandes described the English man as a “great person” for his contribution in the school children feeding program.
The game really came to live as Pogba was brought in but a real concern came in the 81st minute when United were awarded a penalty for an Eric Dier’s foul on Pogba.
Rashford has been sharing the office as a first choice penalty taker for United this season with Pogba his assistant, but Bruno Fernandes stepped out to cancelled out Bergwijn’s goal from the spot to give United a point.
It now appears the three will make a good partnership in the United’s midfield and attack.
