Roma Striker Patrik Schick has emerged as a transfer target for premier league side Newcastle United.
The forward spent last season on loan at Bundesliga side RB Leipzig with a loan fee of about €3.5 million with an option to buy for €29 million.
Leipzig where reluctant to activate the clause which has expired and are aiming for renegotiation with AS Roma.
And Newcastle have challenged for the striker who scored 10 Bundesliga goals in 21 appearances this season.
La Gazzetta dello Sport reported Spurs and Everton to be earlier interested in the forward but it appears Steve Bruce Newcastle are genuine contenders for the 24-year old.
Daily Mail are now reporting that Newcastle will be really interested in the Czech Republican especially if Roma agrees to a loan deal with an option to buy.
