English and Dortmund sensation Jordan Sancho was dropped to the bench in their Bundesliga game against RB Leipzig at the weekend, with several reports saying the young man is just merely a statue at the club that his spirit is away to another destination.
However, The Bundesliga club’s director of football Michael Zorc has explained the situation in an interview with Sport1, saying: “We have had many injuries in the past few weeks and have not been able to rotate like other teams.
“Jadon is completely tired and told the coach before the game that he had no energy to play 90 minutes. You saw that in the game.”
Sancho has just played a game since returning from a groin injury after missing the first three games since the restart of the Bundesliga, scoring a hat-trick against Paderborn.
It appears that German journalist Heiko Wasser was right in his assertion of the player when he earlier stated that Sancho’s head is already at Old Trafford.
But the Director had a counterclaim towards the report which appears true as United have reportedly prepared a €100 million bid for the forward.
